Air Serbia will start to fly directly to New York (JFK) starting from June 2016 on two leased Airbus A330-200, for the first time after 1980s. First tickets for promotional flight are sold at Belgrade’s Tourism Fair to Serbian Prime Minister Mr. Aleksandar Vucic and American Ambassador to Serbia Mr. Kyle Randolph Scott. Price range starts with 399€ for the economy and ends at 2499€ for business class.
Air Serbia was raised from ashes of former Yugoslavia’s national carrier “JAT” in 2013., thanks to Etihad Airways (UAE) investment. It now operates 14 narrow hall Airbus and 6 ATR turboprop aircrafts. It currently serves more than 39 destinations in Europe, Mediterranean and Middle East directly from its hub at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla International Airport with passenger and cargo services.
