Top-ranked Novak Djokovic who led Serbia to its first ever Davis Cup title in 2010, will once again lead Serbia’s team against Kazakhstan in the first round of the Davis Cup. Serbia will host the matches at Belgrade’s Hala Pionir arena on March 4-6.
According to Serbia’s tennis federation, its squad will also include 22nd-ranked Viktor Troicki, Filip Krajinovic and doubles veteran Nenad Zimonjic in the World Group matchup.
The meeting with Kazakhstan will be the first for the two nations in the Davis Cup. The winner will face either Britain or Japan in the quarterfinals on July 15-17.
